The Chebanse Senior Citizens Wellness "Young at Heart" was started in March 2004.  The group is for persons 60 years old and older and all from this area are welcome!

The group sponcers a card party at the Chebanse Community Building, the second Tuesday of each month from 1 to 3:30 p.m.  It also plays Bingo at the Community Building from 1 to 3 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday. 

The Group Also Sponcers many bus trips through out the year. Below is a list of the upcoming trips:

June 14, 2006,  Wednesday, Fair Oaks Dairy, Jasper, IN.  costs $38.00

July 27, 2006, Thursday, Spirit of Chicago, lunch and cruise on Lake Michigan, costs $52.00

September 3, 2006, Sunday, The Barn, Goodfield, IL., "Funny Money", costs $50.00

October 11, 2006, Wednesday, Hoffman House, Rockford, IL., "In Good Company", costs $52.50

November 15, 2006, Wednesday, Alta Villa, Addison, IL., "Once Upon A Tune", costs $50.00

All bus Trips leave from the Gazebo in Chebanse, and the Ultra Foods Parking Lot in Kankakee. You can make checks payable to : Young at Heart,  %Melba Meyer, P.O.
